This is a limited edition giclee print of Marrum Horses made from the original screenprint. The image was based on an event that happened in the Netherlands in 2006. There was extensive flooding in an area around the town of Marrum. 100 horses ended up being stranded on an island. After 3 days, the waters receded enough that 2 women on horseback could ride out to the island and lead the horses off, and back to the mainland and safety.
